Had a fantastic Christmas vacation! The breakfast was an absolute highlight, with mouth-watering Sri Lankan cuisine and a diverse spread. The owners were incredibly friendly and even packed us some lunch for our travels. We loved the private lounges where we could enjoy the stunning mountain views while having our breakfast. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the town center and conveniently close to Victoria Park for a lovely stroll.
The Wi-Fi was quite weak, and the language barrier made communication a bit challenging. Additionally, the overpowering mothball smell was a downside, and we were unnerved by the lack of a lock on the back door of the balcony. Regardless, we found the hosts and rooms to be spotlessly clean and ultra-modern, and they even accommodated us during the six-hour power outage, where we enjoyed delicious hot soup by candlelight.
